Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Travel from Ulaanbaatar to Dalanzadgad by bus, private transfer, or domestic flight if available. We meet you in Dalanzadgad and take you to our accommodation. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and rest before the sightseeing day.

Day 2

After breakfast, start your full-day Gobi highlights tour from Dalanzadgad. First, visit Mukhar Shivert, a quiet canyon area with a similar atmosphere to Yol Valley, but usually with fewer tourists. Then continue to Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs, famous for its red-orange cliffs and dinosaur fossil history. In the afternoon, visit Moltsog Sands, a smaller dune area that gives you a taste of the Gobi sand dunes without the long journey to Khongor Sand Dunes. Return to Dalanzadgad in the evening and stay overnight in our accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, we transfer you to Dalanzadgad bus station or airport for your return journey to Ulaanbaatar.
