Arrive in Dalanzadgad and settle in. Meet your local host and enjoy a welcome dinner. Overnight in Dalanzadgad.
Start the morning at Yol Valley, a scenic mountain gorge in Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. Take an easy canyon walk and enjoy the cooler mountain scenery. Horse riding is optional there.
Then continue to Khongor Sand Dunes. Explore the dunes, enjoy a camel riding experience, and take in the desert landscape and sunset. Overnight near Khongor Sand Dunes.
Visit Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs, one of the Gobi's most famous landscapes, known for red cliffs, wide desert views, and dinosaur fossil history. Overnight in Dalanzadgad.
Attend a local Naadam festival in the Gobi region. Spend the day watching Mongolia's traditional sports, including wrestling, horse racing, and archery. Unlike the large national festival in Ulaanbaatar, a local Naadam offers a closer and more relaxed community atmosphere, with local families gathering to celebrate. Return to Dalanzadgad and stay overnight in a local guesthouse.
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Dalanzadgad airport or bus station for your onward journey.
