Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Dalanzadgad. Welcome dinner with the family.

Day 2

Full day at the Khongor Dunes. Camel riding, dune climbing, and sunset photography.

Day 3

Explore Bayanzag and the surrounding desert landscape. Fossil hunting walk with your guide.

Day 4

Visit a local nomadic herder family — share tea, try airag (fermented mare's milk), and learn about life on the steppe.

Day 5

Morning hike in Yol Valley. Afternoon visit to the Natural History Museum featuring dinosaur fossils found in the Gobi. Transfer to airport or bus station.

Day 6

Leisurely final breakfast. Transfer to airport or bus station.
