Start the morning at Yol Valley, a scenic mountain gorge in Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. Take an easy canyon walk and enjoy the cooler mountain scenery. Horse riding is optional there.

Leave Dalanzadgad early for the long drive to Shar Tsav, a remote area known for preserved dinosaur footprints. Explore the footprint site and experience a lesser-visited part of the Gobi connected to Mongolia's prehistoric past. Overnight in tent accommodation near Shar Tsav.
